Light duty – spring pins have a longitudinal slot along one side that you squeeze closed to install them into unthreaded holes. They are used as locking devices, positioning points, anti-chafing surfaces, shafts, or sleeves for wiring. The pins can be easily removed using a mandrel and reused several times.
